The Concept
This special edition Neenah Paper swatchbook was inspired by vinyl music and the case mimics the shape of a record player. Five popular genres of music are included in this swatchbook and the paper samples used reflect the attitudes of the music. Within each genre, one musician was chosen to be highlighted and a 45rpm vinyl record of their music is included. Special techniques such as foiling and spot finishes are used in the names of each artist. The included genres and artists: Classical, Tchaikovsky; Jazz, Louis Armstrong; Blues, Etta James; Rock & Roll, Elvis; and Country, Johnny Cash.
