The Concept

Pentagram is one of the first design agencies I learned about in school and I loved Paula Scher’s work. The objective of this project was to create a promotional book that could be produced by Pentagram and distributed to potential clients to showcases their diverse work and beautiful studios. Pentagram designs everything: architecture, interiors, products, identities, publications, posters, books, exhibitions, websites, and digital installations. I created a cohesive theme throughout using their iconic red, white, and black. It’s seen on the covers, in the high contrast greyscale chapter dividers with red accent bars, and in the typography. The perfect binding and finishing on this book were done by hand.
